Lānaʻi Chamber of Commerce

Be a part of our business community!

The Lānaʻi Chamber of Commerce promotes business and community growth and development by designing economic programs to strengthen and expand the income potential of all businesses on Lānaʻi; encouraging programs of a civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community; and discovering and correcting abuses that prevent the promotion of business expansion and community growth.

LCoC works with new small business ventures. There is always a niche that someone or a small business can fill – a service to provide or a product to produce that will fit the needs of other businesses and/or individuals. We will be the driving force that helps to create new small businesses and assisting in their success in. As businesses thrive, they create more job opportunities and provide more services and activities for the residents.

5th Fridays with Maui County Town Parties

Our most notable program is Lānaʻi 5th Fridays, which is part of the Maui County Town Parties. LCoC has hosted many successful 5th Fridays! This event invites families, community members, and tourists to visit Lāna’i City and bring sales and attention to the local brick-and-mortar businesses and kiosk vendors set up in the park. Lānaʻi 5th Fridays features food and retail booths, entertainment, and activities for the entire family to enjoy. Other local small businesses and non-profits also participate and are able to bring attention to their causes, such a school groups seeking to raise funds to their events.

Lānaʻi Chamber of Commerce has a new website!

LCoC launched a new website in May 2020 to promote it’s members local businesses and business networking. LCoC is your resource for assistance in creating a new business, help with your current business, and business networking opportunities! It takes more than "talk" to make things happen. It's tough being a small community remote from Wailuku/Kahului. Each district has a local organization working on building relationships within the community. Come to hear how each organization (Hāna Business Council, Lāna'i Chamber of Commerce, and Sust ʻāina ble Moloka'i) is moving and shaking to empower the communities each cares about and helps to generate a sense of pride in the quality of their products and services.

The event guest panelists:

Cindylou Figuerres, board chair of Lāna'i Chamber of Commerce,
Heidi Lea, president of Hāna Business Council, and
Harmonee Williams, executive director of Sust ʻāina ble Moloka'i
